Congratulations pour in as Shouryaditya Singh becomes the first Indian model to secure a placement at Mister Tourism World championship
December 4, 2021 turned out to be a historic day for the entire Indian pageant fraternity. On this day, India recorded its very first placement at the world’s biggest international male pageant promoting worldwide culture, international tourism and biodiversity – Mister Tourism World. All thanks to the very handsome gentleman, Shouryaditya Singh for bringing such glory and pride to the nation. Shouryaditya Singh became the very first Indian model to get placed at Mister Tourism World championship. He not only brought a placement for India, but also gave the Indian nation their very first entry to the Top 5 of the prestigious international event. He was elected 2nd runner-up at the conclusion of this year’s Mister Tourism World championship. He also became only Asian model to enter the Top 5 of the event. Along with winning the 2nd runner-up title, Shouryaditya Singh also won two other awards including Mister Popularity 2021 and Best Speaker 2021 (runner-up).
As soon as the closing ceremony culminated in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on December 4, euphoria gripped the entire Indian pageant fraternity when everyone learnt about their representative – Shouryaditya Singh’s remarkable achievement at the international championship. Indian pageant analysts, consultants and followers all took to social media and congratulated the charming gentleman on making the nation proud. The vice president of Rubaru Mr. India (the organization responsible for selecting India’s representative(s) for Mister Tourism World championship), Pankaj Kharbanda also took to social media to convey his best wishes. The founder and president of the organization, Sandeep Kumar joined this bandwagon and extended his congratulatory wishes to Shouryaditya on his accomplishment.
Shouryaditya Singh hails from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, and currently resides in Mumbai. He holds an honor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of West London, and is a model by profession. He stands 5 ft. and 11 inches tall, and has black hair and dark brown eyes.
India has been participating in the Mister Tourism World championship since its inception however, the nation received their first placement in 2021. Mister Tourism World is an international championship for men, headquartered in London, England. The championship is run by Mister Tourism World organization under the leadership of its founder and president, Czarina de Britannia. Countries like Italy, Malta, Indonesia and the Philippines have hosted this event in past. This year was the very first time that the championship moved to the Caribbean and took place in Dominican Republic.
In India, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India contest is assigned the responsibility of representing the nation at Mister Tourism World championship. Shouryaditya Singh was elected the winner of the 17th edition of Rubaru Mr. India contest, held on April 8, 2021 in Goa. He is the very first Mr. India titleholder from Jharkhand. In the month of November, he travelled to Dominican Republic as India’s representative at the Mister Tourism World championship. He was a major crowd favorite candidate and his 2nd runner-up placement continued India’s successful era in the international male pageantry.
