“Every child should have the opportunity to receive education,” said beauty queen, Momita Singha as she visited a school in Haryana to highlight the importance of children’s education and create awareness on the global issue of climate change. She also took part in the tree plantation event organized by the school’s teachers and the management committee.

While speaking about the role of education in a child’s life, the New Delhi-based beauty pageant winner mentioned, “Education is a lifelong process that generates awareness about one’s self as well as the environment. Every child should have the opportunity to receive education. Children are the future of our society, and it is absolutely essential that they should be educated, not just merely for the sake of development, but also to able them to become righteous and wise individuals. It helps them decide what’s wrong and what’s right. Education is one of the most important aspects of a progressive society. It is a liberating force that frees us from the shackles of ignorance, parochialism and prejudice.”

Momita Singha was elected the winner of Rubaru Miss India Elite 2021 competition held on August 29, 2021 in New Delhi. She is a medical student and a model by profession. Momita Singha is a proponent of the “Education For All” movement. She is also associated with the Pratishtha Foundation, an NGO that helps in providing free education to the underprivileged children.
