Exclusive Interview – Aishwarya Vinu, Miss Teen India Earth 2021
Aishwarya Vinu, hailing from the Indian state of Kerala, was crowned Miss Teen India Earth 2021 at the grand finale of Miss Teen Diva beauty pageant, culminated on January 25, 2021, at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram. She is a high school student and also a karate champion. She currently resides in Dubai and has as won several gold medals in national level Karate championships in the United Arab Emirates. In this exclusive interview, she talks about her journey to the coveted crown of Miss Teen India Earth and her life experiences.
Q. First of all, many congratulations to you on winning the Glamanand Miss Teen India Earth title. How do you feel about it?
Aishwarya Vinu: Thank you so much. The feeling is magnificent. This was my first ever pageant and I am really happy that I was able to give my best. I have been given an opportunity to make my country- India proud at an international platform. What more could I have asked for.
Q. What was your reaction, when your name was announced at the grand finale of the pageant?
Aishwarya Vinu: I was filled with joy and gratitude. The fact that all the hard work and efforts put by my family, mentors and I were fruitful, made it priceless. My dream of representing India internationally was turned into reality.
Q. What was the most challenging part / phase during the Miss Teen Diva 2020 beauty pageant?
Aishwarya Vinu: The pageant as a whole was a unique experience. The most challenging part for me during the pageant was to stand out from the other contestants and being consistent with the performance in each sub contest.
Q. What was the most memorable moment for you from the entire journey that you covered at Miss Teen Diva 2020 beauty pageant?
Aishwarya Vinu: The most memorable moment would definitely be my crowning moment. That moment will always have a special place in my heart. Besides my crowning, every single moment spent with my co-contestants was unforgettable. It was as if I got another family. All the contestants were supporting and helping each other despite the tough competition, that was remarkable indeed.
Q. You will serve as India’s representative at the Miss Teen Earth competition in future. How do you feel about it?
Aishwarya Vinu: I am still overwhelmed about the fact that I will be representing India at the Miss Teen Earth pageant later this year. It is an honor and privilege for me to do so and I am determined to give my very best and make my country and its people proud.
Q. Who / What has been your greatest support in life?
Aishwarya Vinu: My greatest supporters have been my parents. They are my backbone and pillars of strength. I would not be the person I am today without them. My parents have always encouraged me to explore different aspects of life. They have provided me with amazing opportunities and a safe and secure environment. I am truly blessed to be gifted with such amazing and supportive parents.
Q. Who is your inspiration or role model?
Aishwarya Vinu: I have always looked up to Aishwarya Rai since childhood. She is truly an epitome of beauty, elegance and grace. The way she balances her family and professional life is commendable. She has been an inspiration to millions of girls including me.
Q. Lastly, any message for the readers.
Aishwarya Vinu: I would like to say that, if you believe in yourself and work hard for what you truly desire, then nothing is impossible. You may face several obstacles in life, but the most important thing is to never give up. Lastly, I would extend my sincerest gratitude to all the people who have supported me throughout my journey.
