Q. First of all, many congratulations to you on winning the Glamanand Miss Teen India International title. How do you feel about it?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
I feel so grateful. Grateful that I have had the chance to embark on such a beautiful journey. Grateful that I have had my family and friends support me every step on the way. And grateful that the organisation placed their faith in me.

Q. What was your reaction, when your name was announced at the grand finale of the pageant?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
The most special few minutes , felt a whole lot of emotions. The crown revealing video gave me goosebumps and having that same crown being placed on my head was a feeling I can’t express in any possible way. I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming and of course it was accompanied by tears of happiness.

Q. What was the most challenging part / phase during the Miss Teen Diva 2020 beauty pageant?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
When you love doing what you do, the toughest challenges seem so easy. I was head strong and well prepared, I knew my goal and not even one obstacle had the power to bog me down. I treated every challenge as an opportunity to prove my worth. This made my journey a whole lot easier.

Q. What was the most memorable moment for you from the entire journey that you covered at Miss Teen Diva 2020 beauty pageant?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
Each and every moment has had its own essence and everything summed up to make those 7 days the best days of my life. However, the moment I heard my name being announced as Miss Teen International India 2020, I knew all the hard work had finally paid off, and all those moments were worth it.

Q. You will serve as India’s representative at the Miss Teen International competition in future. How do you feel about it?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
Thrilled , determined and grateful. To represent your country is an honour. It is a privilege not everyone gets and nothing I say would justify the emotion. I want to do justice to the responsibility I’ve been given and the position I’ve been placed in and I’m doing everything possible to convert the dream into an everyday reality.

Q. Who / What has been your greatest support in life?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
My family has been my greatest support system. I have been fortunate to have grown around parents who have not only taught me to distinguish between the right and the wrong but also taught me to stand for what is right. They’ve given me all that I’ve wanted without spoiling me in the process.

Q. Who is your inspiration or role model?
Rashi Parasrampuria:
My inspiration has to undoubtedly be the woman who brought me to this planet and gave wings to my dreams. My mother. “And still, after all this time, the Sun never said to the Earth ‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with love like that. It lights up the whole sky.” Similarly, the effort and faith put in by my mother has no bounds and has made me the person that I am today.
