Exclusive Interview – Sonalika Sinha, Rubaru Miss India Elite 2021 finalist

Sonalika Sinha from Dhanbad has been selected as one of the finalists for the next edition of Rubaru Miss India Elite beauty pageant. She stands 5 ft. and 7 inches tall, and has black hair and black eyes. She is a student of zoology and is a model by profession. In this exclusive interview, she talks about her experiences and her journey so far.

Q. Many congratulations to you for making it to the national finals of Rubaru Miss India Elite competition. How do you feel about it?
Sonalika Sinha
: Thank you. When I got the news that I have been selected to compete at Rubaru Miss India Elite beauty pageant, I could not control my happiness and joy. It is indeed a matter of pride to get selected as a finalist at a national level competition. I am thankful to each and every person who supported me in this journey. I am looking forward to meet all my co-contestants and waiting to begin a new chapter in life.

Q. Please tell us something about your hobbies and areas of interest.
Sonalika Sinha:
My hobbies include singing, cooking and dancing.
Singing: I love to sing. It makes me more active, energetic and helps me to focus on what I am doing.
Cooking: Cooking is what I always do whenever I get spare time. It makes me feel like I am utilizing even my spare time in something that is productive.
Dancing: Dancing helps me express my emotions and happiness

Q. Describe yourself in three words.
Sonalika Sinha:
Optimist, determined and dedicated.

Q. In your opinion, what is the best way to handle criticism?
Sonalika Sinha:
I believe  constructive criticism is an important part of your growth and improvement because you get to know your flaws and try to improve them. And don’t let negative elements of the society distract you or demotivate you.

Q. What is the biggest lesson that your life has taught you?
Sonalika Sinha:
So back in 2019, when I had participated in IGlam Miss West Bengal, that time my father had some medical issues, so we went to Hyderabad for his treatment. It almost became impossible for me to attend it, but somehow we came back home a day before the event and I was exhausted, still I managed and prepared for the next day and went to Kolkata for the event. I gave my best there and got the title which was unbelievable for me. This incident gave me a lesson that whatever the situation be, don’t lose hope, give your best and your hard work will surely be rewarded, sooner or later.

Q. What or who has been your greatest support in life?
Sonalika Sinha:
My parents have the biggest support in my life. They are always there for me. They always give me advice and help me shape my career. My mother always inspires me to be a strong and independent woman. My father always manages to take our time for me from busy schedule whenever I need him. I feel so fortunate and blessed that I have such amazing parents.

Q. Any quote or saying that has profound impact on you.
Sonalika Sinha:
The quote that I always believe in is “I can and I will”. Believing in that I never lose hope and  I never give up.

Q. Lastly, any message for the readers.
Sonalika Sinha:
Firstly, I would like to say, please take care of yourself. The situation is not very good these days. Please follow all the safety guidelines and stay at home as much as possible. Take care of yourself and your family. Secondly, I would like to thank each and every person who supported me this journey and would request them to keep supporting me. I promise, I shall do you proud.
