International award-winning model and Rubaru Mr. India Global 2016, Prateek Baid is returning to the Rubaru Mr. India pageant this year (2021). He has joined the Rubaru Mr. India 2020-2021 pageant as the Ramp Walk and Runway coach of the candidates. The national finale of Rubaru Mr. India 2020-2021 pageant will take place on April 8, 2021 in Goa.
Prateek Baid is the first and only Indian model who has won The Best Model award. In 2016, he served as India’s representative at Mister Global competition held in Thailand, and became the first Indian model to secure a placement. He was also awarded with the prestigious Best Model of the Year award at the said international pageant.
While speaking about joining the Rubaru Mr. India pageant as the rampwalk trainer, Prateek mentioned, “It is going to be a memorable experience for me. I am excited to return to the place where my journey began in 2016. I can understand how the candidates must be feeling as I went through the same phase during my year (2016) when I was competing at the very same pageant. That feeling is really difficult to express in words. I would like to wish them all, a very best of luck. All the best guys; always believe in yourself and give your best. Ever since Prateek’s victory, he has established himself as a leading fashion model in India and is also regarded as one of the most successful models in the history of Indian pageantry.
