In conversation with Margaret Shllaku, Miss Supermodel Worldwide Albania 2020
Margaret Shllaku hailing from Shkodra has been selected to represent Albania at the upcoming edition of international modelling competition – Miss Supermodel Worldwide, to take place in India in coming months. Margaret stands 5 ft. and 10 inches tall and has brown hair and brown eyes. She holds a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and is a model by profession. In this exclusive interview, she talks about her life and how she feels about representing Albania at an international platform.
Q. Many congratulations to you on getting selected to represent Albania at the upcoming edition of Miss Supermodel Worldwide. How do you feel about it?
Margaret: I feel very privileged and blessed that I have been chosen to represent my country Albania at the prestigious Miss Supermodel Worldwide contest. I am very grateful and happy that I received this golden opportunity. This is going to be a very different and unique experience for me. I am looking forward to experience Indian culture and interact with my fellow candidates from different parts of the world.
Q. Tell us something about your hobbies and areas of interest.
Margaret: I hold a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. I spend most of my time volunteering. I am a part of a charity organization for about 2 years. I love traveling and exploring new places. Cinematography and movies are my prime areas of interest and other than this I like acting.
Q. Describe yourself in three words.
Margaret: Loyal, sincere and adaptable.
Q. In your opinion, what is the best way to deal with criticism?
Margaret: I look at criticism in a positive way and like to handle the critics positively with a very approach calm. Criticism helps you understand your drawbacks and help you grow. We are different but we are not perfect that is what makes all of us special and unique in our own ways.
Q. When you look back in time, what do you believe has been your greatest lesson?
Margaret: Everyone in this adventure called ‘life’ has been through a lot of hard moments like losing our loved ones or many disappointments etc. and because of everything that we have passed through, we have to value every second we spend with our loved ones. We are travelers in this life so the right thing to do is to create good and unforgettable memories because we never know what tomorrow may bring us.
Q. Who or what has been your greatest support in life?
Margaret: I have been so lucky that I have so many wonderful people in my life who have supported me in every situation. My biggest support system is my family especially my mother. She inspires me to archive all my goals.
Q. Lastly, any message for the readers and your well-wishers.
Margaret: With everything happening because of Covid-19, life is teaching us that if we all support each other and cooperate then the world can become a better place for all of us. Let us all appreciate the life that we have and support each other in these difficult times. Thank you.
