Sultan Hasib, Mister Model Worldwide 2019 (Second Runner-up)

Q. Mister Model Worldwide 2019 – Let us begin from the very beginning. Tell us about the moment when your name was announced at the world finale of the competition held in New Delhi last year.
Sultan Hasib:
That moment will always remain one of the most memorable moments in life. It marked a milestone in my journey and I am so happy that I participated in such a prestigious international fashion event. I was happy that I was able to make my supporters proud.

Q. What qualities do you believe help a candidate at a pageant – be it regional, national or international beauty?
Sultan Hasib:
Confidence and humility are two of the major qualities that a candidate must have. A candidate must know how to present himself / herself confidently in front of others. He must understand that every person present during the pageant has his / her own role to play. So, he / she must know how to respect others and their opinions.

Q. What is that one piece of advice that you would like to share with the individuals who want to enter this fascinating world of pageants?
Sultan Hasib:
Be honest and true to yourself. Accept what you are and who you are. Never try to portray someone else. Enjoy every moment while you are on the stage and always be ready to give your best. In pageants, the things that you do off the stage are equally important as the things you do on the stage.

Q. Do you think it is difficult to be a national representative to an international pageant? What are the hurdles that you faced during your pageant days?
Sultan Hasib:
Yes, it is difficult yet it is fun. Difficult is in the sense that when you go for an international pageant, you become the face of the nation you are representing. It is a matter of huge pride and a great responsibility. However, it is fun too as you get to meet a lot of different people from different parts of the world and you learn new things. So, for me my pageant experience is was like a beautiful dream. The only difference was, I was living my dream.

Q. Describe yourself in three words.
Sultan Hasib:
Honest, hardworking and persistent.

Q. In your opinion, what is the best way to deal with criticism?
Sultan Hasib:
Tackle it with positivity and dignity; learn from it and try to overcome your shortcomings.

Q. Lastly, any message for the readers and your well-wishers.
Sultan Hasib:
Thank you so much for your love and supporting. Please keep supporting each other, the world needs it. Be honest and help those who are in need. You never know your one good deed could change the entire world for someone.
