Indian designer, Arjun Kumar’s creation chosen for a fashion festival in Latin America
This year, Indian designer, Arjun Kumar’s creation will get featured at the international fashion festival – Mister Model International, currently happening in Latin America. The week long fashion extravaganza is being participated by international models from different parts of the world. The closing ceremony and world finals of the event will happen on October 10, 2021 (IST) in the resort town of Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. All the participating nations were asked to select just one designer’s creation to get featured during the special runway and fashion segment of the event. For India, Arjun Kumar was selected as India’s official designer for this segment.
The winner of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India – Armaan Hakim will be seen walking down the runway in Arjun Kumar’s creation during this fashion festival. Speaking about his creation being chosen to feature at the Mister Model International 2021 championship, Arjun mentioned, “It is indeed a matter of great honor for me that my creation will get featured at such a big event in Latin America. I would like to thank the Rubaru Mr. India organization and Mister Model International championship for giving me the opportunity to do this part for my nation – India. I would like to extend my good luck wishes to the Indian representative, Armaan Hakim. He is an amazing titleholder and will surely make our nation proud.”
About the event – Mister Model International: Mister Model International is the biggest international male modelling competition headquartered in Florida, USA. It is an international model hunt championship and fashion festival. Every year, models from different parts of the world are chosen to represent their respective nations at this prestigious event. This year, the event moved to Dominican Republic after 7 years and Punta Cana was chosen as the host city. In past, nations like Thailand, the United States and India have also hosted this renowned fashion event.
