Trained at one of the biggest and oldest beauty pageant academies in the world – Kagandahang Flores camp (KF camp), Indian model, Shefali Sood crowned her successor, Aavriti Choudhary at the grand finale of Miss Diva 2020 contest held on February 22, 2020 at Yash Raj Films Studios in Mumbai, India. Aavriti Choudhary will now represent India at the upcoming edition of Miss Supranational beauty pageant to take place in Poland.
The Kagandahagn Flores camp or the KF camp is one of the biggest and most successful beauty pageant training academies in the world. The camp has trained several aspirants who went on to win some of the most prestigious national as well as international beauty pageants in the world. Founded by Filipino entrepreneur and engineer, Rodin Gilbert B Flores in the mid-1990’s, the Kagandahang Flores camp is one of the oldest running beauty pageant training academies in the world. Rodin Gilbert B Flores or Rodgil Flores came up with the idea of establishing the KF Camp after the Philippines hosted the biggest international beauty pageant in the world – the Miss Universe pageant in the year 1994. Eventually, the camp became the powerhouse of beauty queens.
Shefali Sood is the very first model of Indian origin to get trained at the prestigious Kagandahang Flores camp based in the Philippines. Hailing from New Delhi, Shefali was appointed to represent India at Miss Supranational 2019 contest as there was no Indian national pageant for Miss Supranational competition took place in India last year. On February 22, 2020, she passed on her crown to her successor, Aavriti Choudhary – Miss Supranational India 2020.
This year’s Miss Diva beauty pageant was graced by the reigning Miss Supranational, Anntonia Porsild from Thailand. She also sat as a judge for the event along with former Miss Supranational, Asha Bhat from India. This was Anntonia’s first international trip since winning the Miss Supranational beauty pageant last year in the month of December.
