Know more about Rubaru Mr. India, the next destination of Minjom Padu, Mr. Arunachal 2021

The 2021 Mr. Arunachal championship culminated with the election of West Siang’s Minjom Padu as the event’s winner. Along with winning this prestigious title, Minjom Padu also won direct entry to the finals of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India. He will serve as Arunachal Pradesh’s representative at the 2022 Rubaru Mr. India championship.

Rubaru Mr. India is India’s biggest and oldest running male pageant. The pageant was created in the year 2004, and is regarded as the foremost men’s pageant in India. Rubaru Mr. India is associated with more than 10 international male pageants and modelling organizations across the globe. The pageant contributes more than 70% to India’s male pageant sector. It produces more than 10 titleholders and over 30 special award winners every year. The Rubaru Mr. India pageant selects the maximum number of finalists to compete during the national finals. It also holds the record of producing the maximum number of international male pageant award winners and titleholders of Indian origin. The pageant is organized by Rubaru Group, founded by Sandeep Kumar and Mumbai-based Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice president of the organization.


This year (2021), Tumken Sora, the winner of Mr. Arunachal 2019 championship and Minjom Padu’s predecessor, represented Arunachal Pradesh at the 17th edition of the Rubaru Mr. India championship, held in the month of April, in Goa. Tumken was elected the brand ambassador of the Rubaru Mr. India organization at the grand finale of the event, and also won an award in the talent category of the pageant. He became the very first model from the Northeast India to get chosen as the brand ambassador of the Rubaru Mr. India organization. Next year, the winner of Mr. Arunachal 2021, Minjom Padu will serve as Arunachal Pradesh’s representative at the 2022 Rubaru Mr. India championship.
