Malik Rehan from Taleigão won Mr. Goa 2019
Malik Rehan was elected the new Mr. Goa winner at the grand finale of Mr. Goa 2019 pageant, concluded on December 7, 2019 at Salcete Beach Resort in Colva. He was awarded by the outgoing titleholder, Mr. Goa 2018, Rahul Rametri and Rubaru Mr. India 2018 (Runner-up), Dilip Patel. The pageant was organized by AB Productions headed by former Mr. Goa (Runner-up) and entrepreneur, Abrar Naik and team.
Along with winning this prestigious title, Malik also won direct entry to the final show of India’s biggest national pageant for men – Rubaru Mr. India, scheduled to take place next year. Malik lives in Taleigao and is a student of commerce and accountancy at SS Dempo College, Goa. This 21-year-old gentleman stands 6 ft and 2 inches tall and has black hair and black eyes. His hobbies include playing volleyball, travelling and working out in gym.
This year’s Mr. Goa pageant took place in Colva. It was hosted by Desmond Oliveira. After a week-long preliminary events and challenges the candidates appeared for the finale show. The Mr. Goa 2019 candidates were mentored by Mr. Goa 2018, Rahul Rametri, Mr. Goa 2018 (Runner-up) and the head of the organizing committee, Abrar Naik and international beauty queen, Nakita Tania Fernandes. The participants were judged on various parameters like confidence, personality, runway skills, communication skills, on and off stage presentation, on and off camera presentation, fitness, intellect and many more. The candidates took part in different segments of the pageant that included individual interviews, formal wear round, national costume round and health and fitness round. The final judgement was made by taking under consideration the performances of the candidates during all these preliminary events and the overall performance of each candidate during and prior to the finale. The winner, Malik Rehan will compete at the national finale of Rubaru Mr. India 2020 pageant scheduled to take place in 2020.

The winners / top placers of the pageant represent India at some of the biggest and most well-established international pageants across the globe.
