Mister Model Worldwide 2019 competition concludes in India
This year’s Mister Model Worldwide competition successfully culminated on December 21, 2019 at City Park Resort in New Delhi, India. At the conclusion of the competition, fitness model, Valdimir Solomonenko from Kazakhstan was elected the new winner. The glitzy evening also witnessed the election of four runners-up to the winner. They were, first runner-up: Hyeon Joong Kim from Korea, second runner-up: Sultan Hasib from Afghanistan; third runner-up: Bonface Lwako from Kenya and fourth runner-up: Md. Nasrul Zahari from Malaysia.
At the same event, four continental awards and three ambassador awards were also awarded. India’s Yogesh Sharma won Mister Model Worldwide Asia award, South Africa’s Tokelo Holejane won Mister Model Worldwide Africa award, the United States’ Ricardo Almanzar Suarez won Mister Model Worldwide Americas award and Armenia’s Valodya Gabrielyan won Mister Model Worldwide Europe. The ambassador award winners were Batuhan Beste from Turkey, Wang Liang from China and Gianluca Lanta from the Philippines. Thailand’s Suphachok Taweechote was named Mister Tourism Worldwide 2019 at the award ceremony.
About the pageant – Mister Model Worldwide: Mister Model Worldwide is an annual international modelling competition for men, based in India. It is the first and only international modelling competition for men, headquartered in South Asia. The competition is owned by Indian modelling and pageant organization, Rubaru Group, based in the North Indian state of Haryana. The contest is popular for its different preliminary segments and colossal world finale event.
This year’s Mister Model Worldwide competition began in the second week of December. Models from different parts of the world travelled to India to take part in this international extravaganza of fashion, glitz and glamour. The participants were judged on various parameters like confidence, personality, runway skills, communication skills, on and off stage presentation, on and off camera presentation, fitness, intellect and many more. The candidates took part in different segments of the pageant that included individual interviews, formal wear round, national costume round and health and fitness round. The final judgement was made by taking under consideration the performances of the candidates during all these preliminary events and the overall performance of each candidate during and prior to the finale.
