Mohit Singh’s journey from Rubaru Mr. India 2016 to Mister United Continents 2016

In the year 2016, Mohit Singh from Haryana created history by becoming the very first Indian delegate to win the prestigious international pageant – Mister United Continents. Mohit won the coveted title – Mister United Continents 2016 – at the world finale of the contest held on July 22, 2016 in the Philippines. Mister United Continents is the first and oldest running international pageant for men headquartered in the Philippines. Every year, models from different countries and territories take part in this international pageant. In India, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India contest represents the nation at this international contest for men.

Mohit belongs to Rohtak in the Indian state of Haryana. He graduated with a degree in electronics and communication engineering and went to become a highly skilled senior engineer at a multinational company. His life took a turn when he got selected to compete at India’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr.  India.

Standing 6 ft. tall, Mohit was elected Rubaru Mr. India United Continents 2016 at the national finals of Rubaru Mr. India 2016 contest held in Gurugram. One of the key responsibilities that came with the title was to represent India at the forthcoming edition of Mister United Continents competition. A few weeks since winning the Rubaru Mr. India 2016 contest, Mohit flew to the Philippines to take part in Mister United Continents contest. He became the crowd favorite candidate. That was also one of the reasons that he also won Fan-vote Mr. Popular award at the pageant. After winning the international title, he joined the Indian fashion industry and also continued to work as an engineer. In 2017, after completing his tenure with Rubaru Mr. India organization, he passed on his title to his successor, Mitendra Singh from Madhya Pradesh.
