Mumbai-based model, Simrithi Bathija crowned Miss India International 2019

Mumbai-based model, Simrithi Bathija was crowned Miss India International 2019 at the coronation gala of Glamanand Supermodel India 2019 beauty pageant held on September 29, 2019 at Jai Bagh Palace in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Miss India International 2019, Tanishqa Bhosale. Along with winning the crown, Simrithi also won the rights to represent India at Miss International 2019 beauty pageant scheduled to take place in Japan later this year.

Simrithi Bathija is a model by profession. She lives in Mumbai. She is 20 years old and holds a bachelor’s degree in mass media from Jai Hind College. She stands 5 foot and 7 inches tall and is also a trained dancer and sportsperson. She has already started her training for the international beauty pageant to take place in Japan. Ranchi-based designer, Neha Kumar has joined hands with Glamanand organization as Simrithi’s national costume designer for Miss International 2019 pageant.

Miss International is an annual international beauty pageant based in Japan. The pageant is one of the oldest running international beauty pageants in the world. The pageant is run by The International Culture Association of Japan. Every models from different parts of the world take part in this international beauty pageant and the best performing candidate gets crowned as the pageant’s winner.

In India, Glamanand Entertainment, the parent organization of Glamanand Supermodel India pageant, holds the rights to send India’s representatives to the Miss International pageant. The organization is headed by its founder and chairman, Nikhil Anand. India has never won Miss International competition. Will Simrithi Bathija become the first Indian winner of Miss International beauty pageant? We all shall soon learn the name of the new Miss International titleholder this December.
