Nehal Patil – The charming groundbreaker hotshot who created his own path to success
The path to success is never easy. It is full of hurdles, challenges and disappointments. Putting in efforts and staying resilient are two of the major components that one needs to walk this onerous path. When the right time comes, every single effort invested by you yields its own reward. One such path has been walked by a very handsome Indian gentleman whose journey to success was not easy at all. However, with his hardwork, persistence and dedication, he changed his destiny and wrote his own success story. We are talking about the latest sensation in the Indian pageant sector, Nehal Patil – the new Rubaru Mr. India Grand International 2022 and India’s representative to the 2022 Mister Grand International competition.
Nehal’s journey in the pageant industry was not like others. He had to cover a rather unconventional path however, his journey vividly displayed his persistence, girt and perseverance. Nehal’s tryst with pageantry began in 2019 when he participated in the Mr. Goa competition. He could only manage to make it to Top 10. However, with his charming face and handsome looks, he won the Mister Photogenic special award. His failure of not winning the title did not disappoint him. He worked on his flaws and made a comeback in the pageant industry after 3 years (in 2022). This time, with better preparations and a stronger determination. He joined the nation’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr. India and was chosen to appear for the national finals after clearing 6 rounds of the selection process. The lessons he learnt during his state level competition in 2019 helped him qualify the national level competition.
In the month of October 2022, he travelled to Chennai for the national finals of the 18th Rubaru Mr. India competition. This time again, his very charming face and appealing good-looks made him stand out in the crowd and won him the Look of the Year 2022 special award at the said event. In addition to that it was his eloquence and very clam temperament that helped him move ahead in the competition. On October 5, 2022, he was proclaimed as Rubaru Mr. West India 2022, winning one of the 5 zonal titles. Not securing a national title did not demotivate and he happily accepted his victory. In his thoughts, he was content and happy from where he began in 2019 and what he achieved in 2022. However, his performance and behavior did not go unnoticed. The organizers were greatly impacted by his performance throughout the competition and after the finale.
In mid-October 2022, the Rubaru Mr. India organization was informed regarding Mister Grand International being held in Trinidad and Tobago and an Indian candidate was required for competition, that was scheduled to take place on November 25. It was a challenging task for the organization to select a candidate in such a short period of time and prepare him for the international platform. Since all the national winners were tied with their respective international pageants, the Rubaru Mr. India organization had to select someone who could do justice to the title and serve as a strong Indian representative at the international level. It was then the organization decided to select Nehal for this job. His strong performance left a significant impact on the organizers and they chose him for this Herculean task.
On November 12, 2022, Nehal was officially announced as India’s representative for the 2022 Mister Grand International competition. In a few days, he will be flying to Port of Spain to compete at the said international event. The new Rubaru Mr. India Grand International 2022 titleholder, Nehal Patil is much more than a good-looking face. He holds a diploma in event management is an entrepreneur, realtor, actor and model by profession. He has worked with a series of fashion brands and is also regarded as one of the most handsome men in the state of Goa. His journey to the international platform was full of challenges and at every stage he accepted those challenges and showed his true potential, that kept growing with every passing phase.
