About this incident and her achievement, Dr Arya mentioned, “I had to be there no matter what the situation was. When you go for an international event, you no longer remain just an individual rather you become the face of the nation you represent. Same was the case with me. That was not Dr Tara Shweta Arya there vying for the title, rather she was Mrs. India. When you are carrying so many hopes of so many people on your shoulders, backing out is not an option. I had to be there and it was very essential that I give my best.”

Nothing seems impossible, if you have the courage to chase your dreams and with me along with my courage, it was my supporters’ wishes and the almighty’s blessings that kept me motivated and helped in perform during the pageant even in the pain. I feel really honoured that I won or I would rather say we won. If you guys would not have been with me, I would have never come this far. It is our victory, India. To all the people who supported me, this victory is yours. Thank you so much.”

We congratulate Dr Arya for this wonderful achievement and salute her passion for her nation.
