“Please wear mask and take care of yourself,” beauty queen, Evneet Kaur requests people to follow safety measures as India sees 2nd wave of COVID-19

India is witnessing the second wave of COVID – 19 pandemic. Amid such circumstances, some Indian cities have entered complete lockdown and night curfews have been imposed across several towns and states, to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. Mentioning about such harsh times, Indian beauty queen, Evneet Kaur Juneja took to social media and requested people to wear a mask and urged them to follow the safety guidelines issued by the authorities.
The Gwalior-based model and beauty queen mentioned, “As a fellow human being and a citizen of India, it breaks my heart when I see people suffering from the atrocities that this pandemic has caused all over the world. It is indeed very saddening to see my nation go through such harsh times. I request everyone to please wear a mask, stay safe and try to stay at home as much as possible. Prevention is always better than cure. As the citizens of this country, it is our duty and responsibility to make sure that we all must cooperate with the medical authorities and the government in the battle against this pandemic. Please wear a mask and take care of yourself.”
Evneet was crowned Rubaru Miss Globe India in the year 2019 and served as India’s official representative at one of the biggest international pageants in the world – Miss Globe held in Albania and Montenegro in 2019. She is also the recipient of Beauty with Brains and Best International Model awards.
