Preeti Jagwani talks about her crowning moment
On August 29, 2021, Preeti Jagwani from West Bengal was crowned Rubaru Mrs. National Universe India, at the national finals of Rubaru Mrs. India 2021 beauty pageant, held in New Delhi. She is the first woman from West Bengal to win Mrs. National Universe India crown. She also won Mrs. Fashion Icon special award at the said event. It has been a month since she won this scintillating crown, however, for her that moment feels like it happened yesterday. She penned down a very special note as she completed one month of being a national level beauty pageant winner.
While reminiscing her crowning moment, the Kolkata-based entrepreneur quoted, “It has been a month since I won this glittering crown, however, to me it feels like it happened just yesterday. All the memories from the pageant are still so lucid and vivid. From the day I arrived in New Delhi, to the day this crown was placed on my head, I enjoyed every moment and will cherish all these memories for the rest of my life. From Mrs. Face of Bengal to Rubaru Mrs. India and from Rubaru Mrs. India to Mrs. National Universe, every ending in my journey marked the beginning of a different and even more exciting journey. I feel so happy and blessed, I got the opportunity to embrace such memories. To the people who supported me, thank you so much, and I would like to extend my special gratitude to Ddevjani Mitra and IGlam academy for being such a great support system in my journey.”
Along with winning this prestigious title, Preeti also won the rights to represent India at the international beauty pageant – Mrs. National Universe, scheduled to take place in Thailand, in coming months.
