Rubaru Group’s vice president, Pankaj Kharbanda to judge Mr. Arunachal 2021 championship

The vice president of Rubaru Group (the parent organization of Rubaru Mr. India championship), Pankaj Kharbanda will be one of the judges for the 2021 Mr. Arunachal championship. The event will culminate of November 7, 2021, at Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall in IG Park, Itanagar. At the conclusion of the championship, the current titleholder and brand ambassador of Rubaru Mr. India organization, Tumken Sora will pass over his title to his successor. The winner of Mr. Arunachal 2021 title will get direct entry to the national finals of the 2022 Rubaru Mr. India championship.
Pankaj Kharbanda is currently based in Mumbai. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and management from the University of London. He is the recipient of several awards and honors including the Youngest Businessman of the Year award (won twice – 2015 and 2017) and Best Culinary Artists and Chef of the Year (2008). Earlier this year (2021), he was honored with the prestigious Best National Director award in Latin America for his significant contributions to the male pageant industry.
Pankaj Kharbanda is responsible for bringing several notable reforms to India’s male pageant sector, and catapulting it to a whole new level. He introduced several new changes in Rubaru Mr. India pageant that were never seen in any Indian male pageant before. He also made the event more transparent to the public. Some of the significant reforms introduced by him include social impact and awareness project; national costume segment and online preliminary interviews that were made available to the public. The biggest reform brought by him was the inclusion of the differently abled candidates to the pageant. Since 2019, the Rubaru Mr. India championship became open to differently abled men.
About Rubaru Mr. India championship – Rubaru Mr. India championship is India’s biggest and foremost male pageant. It is oldest running national level male pageant in India. The pageant was created by Sandeep Kumar in the year 2004, and Mumbai-based entrepreneur, Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice president of the organization. Rubaru Mr. India pageant contributes more than 70% to India’s male pageant industry. It also holds the record of producing the maximum number of international male pageant award winners and placement holders of Indian origin. This year, the pageant produced 13 titleholders and more than 30 special award winners. The pageant is associated with the maximum number of international male pageants and modelling competitions in India.
Mr. Arunachal is one of the biggest state level pageants in India. The event is organized by Aries Corps under the leadership of Jack Taniya Budh. This year, Arunachal Pradesh marked its debut at Rubaru Mr. India championship held in Goa. In the debut year, the state’s representative, Tumken Sora was chosen as the brand ambassador of the organization. Tumken Sora is the reigning Mr. Arunachal. He was elected the winner of Mr. Arunachal 2019 contest and won direct entry to national finals of the Rubaru Mr. India contest.
