Shouryaditya Singh ends India’s long-prevailing drought of non-placement at Mister Tourism World
On December 4, 2021, India recorded its very first placement at the prestigious Mister Tourism World championship. Shouryaditya Singh from Jharkhand ended India’s long-prevailing drought of non-placement at the world’s biggest international male pageant promoting worldwide culture, international tourism and biodiversity. The world finals of Mister Tourism World 2021 championship culminated on December 4, 2021, at Plaza Central in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. At the conclusion of the event, India’s Shouryaditya Singh was elected 2nd runner-up. Along with winning this prestigious title, he also won two special awards including Mister Popularity 2021 and Best Speaker 2021 (runner-up). It was the very first time that India achieved so many milestones in a single year at the said event. Shouraditya Singh also became the only Asian model to enter the Top 5 of this prestigious international championship for men.
Shouryaditya Singh hails from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, and currently resides in Mumbai. He holds an honor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of West London, and is a model by profession. He stands 5 ft. and 11 inches tall, and has black hair and dark brown eyes. Earlier this year, he was elected the winner of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India, held on April 8, 2021, in Goa. Along with winning this title, he also won the rights to serve as India’s representative at the 2021 Mister Tourism World championship. In addition to his national victory at Rubaru Mr. India, he also received the highest points in the preliminary as well as the final interview rounds of the competition, making his way straight to the title of Rubaru Mr. India 2020-21.
Shouryaditya Singh was the most popular model at this year’s Mister Tourism World championship. His fame and popularity fetched him the Mister Popularity 2021 special award. Shouryaditya is regarded as one of the most eloquent and intellectual male pageant winners. His great eloquence and communication skills also bestowed him with Best Speaker 2021 (runner-up) award at Mister Tourism World championship. He is the first Mr. India to ace all the interview segments he appeared for.
India has been participating in Mister Tourism World championship since the inception of the event. However, it never received any award or placement until 2021. Shouryaditya Singh not only brought India their very first placement but also made the nation shine by winning 3 awards at the event. Shourayditya Singh’s journey from being Jharkhand’s very first Mr. India titleholder to becoming India’s first placement holder at Mister Tourism World, is a pure tale of hardwork, persistence and dedication.
