Sandeep Kumar is no stranger to the world of beauty pageants. He is regarded as the king of male pageantry in India for his significant contribution to the men’s pageant industry. He has won several international honors for his work in the beauty pageant sector however, there are some facts that not many of us know about him. Let’s have a look at these lesser known facts about this gentleman who took the Indian pageant industry to a whole new level.

1. In the year 2014, he was named the best pageant director at Mister Model International Pageant held in Dominican Republic.
2. Later in the year 2014, he was again named best pageant director at an international pageant in Thailand.
3. He is the only person in history to receive the Best Pageant Director award twice in the same year.
4. He is the only Indian pageant personality to get honored with the best pageant director award, that even more than once.
5. He is also the first Asian to be named the best pageant director.
6. He created Rubaru Group in the year 2004.
7. The pageant Rubaru Mr. India was initially started by him in the year 2004 under the name – Rubaru Mr. Bahadurgrah.
8. In the year 2005, Kumar changed the name of the pageant to Rubaru Mr. Haryana after getting several applications of participants from other places in Haryana.
9. Kumar had to rename the pageant once again due to growing popularity of the event and getting applications from other regions in Northern part of India. Thus, the pageant was renamed to Rubaru Mr. North India.
10. A couple of years after solidifying Rubaru Mr. North India pageant, Sandeep had to rename the pageant once again to make it a national event so that it can be participated by candidates from all across the nation. That’s how Rubaru Mr. India pageant got evolved over the years and became a national level championship.
11. In the year 2016, he brought two international beauty pageants – Supermodel International and Mister Model International – to India. It was also the first time that an Indian organization brought two international beauty pageants to India.
12. He is responsible for bringing Mister Model International Pageant to Asia.
13. After successfully hosting two international pageants in India, he also went ahead and brought Face of Beauty International pageant (an international pageant based in New Zealand) to India. It was the year 2017, when for the very first time India hosted Face of Beauty International pageant.
14. The success of Face of Beauty International pageant in the year 2017 made him bring the pageant to India once again. So, in 2018, the Face of Beauty International pageant held in India for the second consecutive year.
15. In the year 2018, he created the very first international modelling competition in India. It was Miss Supermodel Worldwide. The same year, he also organized Mister Model Worldwide, the very first international male modelling competition based in South Asia.
16. In 2019, he created yet another international beauty pageant. It was Mrs. Supermodel Worldwide.
17. He is the president of seven modelling competitions and beauty pageants. They are Rubaru Mr. India, Rubaru Miss India Elite, Rubaru Mrs. India, Rubaru Mr. and Miss Junior India, Miss Supermodel Worldwide, Mister Model Worldwide, Mrs. Supermodel Worldwide.
18. He is the founder and president of maximum number of beauty pageant events in Asia.
19. In the year 2019, he was elected Best Pageant Director again and that even twice. He was elected the Best Pageant Director at an international pageant in the Philippines and later, in Thailand. He also became the very first Indian to get honored with this prestigious title in the Philippines. It was also his second time, winning best pageant director award in Thailand, after he first won it in 2014.
20.  In the year 2019, he was also honored at the Golden People Awards in Azerbaijan for his contributions to the beauty pageant sector. He is the first and only Indian person in the history to get felicitated in Azerbaijan.
21. Along with being the director of Rubaru Group, he is also the mentor and trainer of the candidates who participate in the events organized by Rubaru Group.
22. He has won several awards for his paintings. Yes! That’s correct, he is also a painter.
23. He has won four Best Pageant Director awards and one special achievement award in six years
