Tseteej Shiwakoty, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India Global 2020-21 title, has been chosen to serve as India’s representative at one of the biggest international championships for men – Mister Global. Delegates from different parts of the world will arrive in Thailand in the month of March to compete for the eminent title of Mister Global. The world finals and closing ceremony of the championship will take place on March 15, 2022 in Maha Sarakham in Thailand. At the conclusion of the event, the current champion, JongWoo Kim from Korea will pass over his title to the new winner.
Tseteej Shiwakoty hails from the city of Gangtok, in Sikkim. He stands 5 ft. and 11 inches tall, and has black hair and dark brown eyes. He holds a degree in science and nutrition, and is a model and actor by profession. In 2019, he was elected Mr. Sikkim Kanchenjunga and was chosen to mark Sikkim’s debut at India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India. In 2021, he created history by becoming the very first delegate from Sikkim to win Rubaru Mr. India championship. He was elected Rubaru Mr. India Global 2020-21 at the national finals and closing ceremony of the 17th edition of Rubaru Mr. India championship, held on April 8, 2021, in Goa. Along with winning this prestigious title, he also won the rights to serve as India’s representative at Mister Global championship.
Mister Global is one of the biggest international championships for men. The event is organized by Mister Global Co. Ltd. under the leadership of Thai entrepreneur and pageant expert, Pradit Pradinunt. Mister Global is an annual championship. Every year delegates from different parts of the world attend this international extravaganza of fashion, glitz and glamour. During the course of event, delegates take part in a series of preliminary activities, photoshoots and pre-finale challenges before walking down the ramp at the world finals. The winner of the title receives gifts and awards and also serves as a spokesperson for various social and charitable causes.
