Tumken Sora won the Best Actor (in a leading role) Award at Arunachal Film Festival
Tumken Sora, the winner of Mr. Arunachal 2019 – 2020, from Lepa Rada was honored with Best Actor (in a leading role) award at the annual Arunachal Film Festival culminated on December 28, 2020. This prestigious award show was organized by Film Federation of Arunachal (FFA) in association with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations. The award show was held virtually via the official website of Arunachal Film Festival.
Tumken Sora is 25 years old and stands 5 ft. and 11 inches. He holds a degree in Sciences and Technology and is a model, actor and engineer by profession. He was elected Mr. Arunachal 2019 – 2020 at the annual Mr. Arunachal competition concluded in Itanagar in 2019. In coming months, he will be seen competing at India’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr. India.
About the pageant: Mr Arunachal – Mr. Arunachal is an annual state-level pageant for men. It is one of the biggest state level pageants in India. The pageant is run by Aries Group headed and managed by ‘Jack’ Taniya Budh. The pageant is the biggest state-level pageant in Arunachal Pradesh and is supported by the state government. The winner of Mr. Arunachal contest gets a direct entry to the national finale of India’s oldest running annual pageant for men – Rubaru Mr. India.

The winners / top placers of the pageant represent India at some of the biggest and most well-established international pageants across the globe. The Rubaru Mr. India pageant was created in the year 2004 and has been happening annually ever since its inception, making it the oldest existing annual male pageant in India. Since the pageant’s inception in the year 2004, the pageant has sent India’s representatives to more than 15 different international pageants and modelling competitions for men. The pageant also holds the records of being associated with the maximum number of international modelling organizations in India. The pageant is regarded as one of the most successful national male pageants in the world for producing multiple international titleholders and award winners over the years.
